We’re constantly bombarded with the latest quick fix, the answer to all your prayers but without something solid to anchor them in - you find yourself back where you started. But a few thousand dollars / pounds lighter for the experience.

Sure it’s okay to want something that works quickly, as we’re all tired of our own bullshit but, it’s also important to have something that actually works for you. 

EFT is touted by some to be a miracle cure for so many different issues, and it can certainly work wonders. But we need to be realistic, healing is not a one and done experience. It’s about gently working and processing. Some steps of the journey will be bigger, some not so much. 

As EFT takes a somatic (bodily) intervention approach, we are dealing with your thoughts and feelings as they exist in the body. Something that mindset work neglects and to me makes EFT a missing piece of the healing puzzle.

Why EFT? (Let’s dig in for a moment)

EFT / Tapping is different and is supported by numerous studies and extensive research. 

Putting it very simply - EFT is known as psychological acupuncture but without needles! 

EFT works by tapping on acupoints in the upper body while talking about situations, memories and experiences you want to heal from (let’s say integrate).

By gently tapping on the acupoints, you are sending calming signals through your body’s limbic system letting you know at a subconscious level that you are safe, this is safe to talk about and it’s all going to be okay. 

Because EFT approaches issues both in the mind and body, by design it can be more effective than simple talking therapies in getting to the root of and tackling issues quicker. It’s often the case that when working through a ‘specific issue’, a series of related and connected issues also come to the surface. Working through the connected aspects together can result in removing their limiting influence from your experience and creating a wider experience of release, relief and healing. 

In short - EFT can help you unf**k your head and unf**k your life. Not to put too fine a point on it but the way the world is going, we have to become more self reliant to meet the ever moving goalposts of having a stable life. 

Because all of that begins within you. 

How the sessions work:

We meet via zoom for 90 minutes, you tell me via email beforehand what you want to focus on. In the session we will most likely do three to four ‘rounds’ of tapping as we discuss the issue and steer you towards a place of greater peace, acceptance and empowerment. 

Working in this manner allows you to learn the tapping process to use for yourself and become part of your daily routine. It is important to me that you learn the tools to help self manage and regulate when you encounter difficult and challenging situations. 

After the session you will receive a recording and transcript (if selected) so you are able to use this going forward.

  • It is most likely that you will need more than one session to completely deal with a specific issue, the single session options are designed to offer release and relief. It is important to be realistic about your expectations and recognise that any step towards integrating your challenges is a great accomplishment

  • I do not tolerate any abuse of any kind during, before or after any sessions. This will result in a complete severance of the working relationship as it is important that we work together based on mutual respect. 

  • EFT can be used to deal with challenging and difficult memories/experiences, it is important that you treat your journey with care and respect. It is advisable that you keep some time free after the session to relax and integrate the experience.

  • While there is no limit to how frequently you perform a tapping session, a minimum gap of five days between sessions is advisable.

  • Healing can also be defined as acceptance of yourself and experiences, it's important not to see this as a magic bullet but a powerful evidence based practice to put you back in the driver’s seat of your life.

  • Sessions can be rearranged in line with my terms and conditions however ‘no-shows’ will not be refunded or rearranged. 

  • Due to the live nature of the session I also do not offer refunds for dissatisfaction as the session fee relates to the time commitment.
